The school logo at the top of the left column is a link to the Homepage Associated with the Marryatville High philosophy of Multiple Intelligences and developing Higher Order Thinking Skills, Special Interest Programs are models of excellence in education. They develop students with high intellectual potential, a special interest in music, a special interest in tennis, a focus on Science or the desire to become bilingual. Expert teachers and extra resources are involved in developing and offering these programs. Graduates from these programs study or work around the world highlighting the success of these programs. To enter the Special Interest Music Program there is a defined procedure. To enter the Special Interest Tennis Program interested students are referred to the coach at Tennis SA who will arrange for an assessment of their tennis ability. Students accepted for enrolment are assessed for their ability to join the Program for Students With High Intellectual Potential. The Science Focus and Asia Access Program are integrated in various parts of the curriculum. Enrolment for students from beyond the zone of the school with these particular interests are looked on favourably. |
