Enrolment: Process

Year 7 students in public schools wishing to apply for admission to Marryatville High, can obtain Application for Enrolment forms from their local primary school. Completed admission forms can be returned to the primary school.

Students at a Catholic or Independent school can collect an Application for Enrolment form from their nearest primary school or the District Education Office. These forms must be returned to the District Education Office at Briar Rd, Felixstow.

If student enrolment numbers exceed the ceiling set for the school, students are allocated points according to the criteria. The criteria for selection used by district offices are proximity, curriculum, and any other pertinent reasons eg ease of travel, friendship group. They are then ranked for admission and put on a waiting list. Waiting lists are maintained for all year levels and places are allocated as they become available. Families are notified as a position becomes available.
