Introduction

Marryatville High School has a commitment to promote excellence in its International Student Program.

International Students from all over the world are a welcome and valued part of our school community.

Short Term Visits Program

• These programs are offered for 1-4 weeks
• The educational program can be arranged to meet the requirements of the group
• The visits usually include intensive English study in the morning and school integration in the afternoon
• The program may include half day or full day excursions or other special interest activities
• The cultural experience is further enhanced by the provision of homestay accommodation with carefully selected host families
• A member of the host family who is usually a student of the host school is matched with each visiting student on a "buddy" system
• The buddy system assists the visiting student in moving around the school and understanding the school routine and expectations
• Buddy and visiting students also travel to and from school together
