Committees: Governing Council

The formal parent body of Marryatville High is recognised for its pro-active involvement in community educational advocacy and achievements for the school. Many sub committees provide support and direction for a range of school activities, including finance and performing arts centre management.

Decision Making

The policy and processes at Marryatville are based on a consultative/democratic model which includes all members of the community or their chosen representatives.

Bodies involved as part of the decision making process; Policy Advisory Committee, Strategic Planning Committee, Student Representative Council, Faculties, Year Level Meetings, Occupational Health and Safety Committee, Governing Council, many of which are comprised of staff, parents and students.

Project teams are formed to meet needs as they arise. Policies include all aspects of student health, welfare and academic studies.
